Cash App from Block, Inc., experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at around 255K downloads in late December 2021, the app saw a peak of approximately 385K downloads in the week of January 24. Weekly active users for Cash App varied, starting the quarter at 7.1M and ending at approximately 7.5M in late March.
Google Pay: Save and Pay by Google LLC showed a steadier trend in weekly downloads. The app started with about 246K downloads in late December 2021, decreasing to around 130K by mid-February, and then slightly recovering to 162K downloads by the end of March. Its weekly active users showed a slight increase from 639K to 655K over the quarter.
PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage, published by PayPal Mobile, saw a relatively stable download pattern.
