Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Egypt: Q1 2022 Performance

In the first quarter of 2022, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Egypt exhibited diverse trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of Lucky ONE, Yalla Super App يلّا سوبر آب, Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments, myfawry, and Valu.

Lucky ONE experienced impressive weekly download numbers, starting at around 40K in late December and peaking at 74.7K in mid-February. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, growing from approximately 188K at the end of December to over 239K by mid-March before a slight decline to 223K at the end of the quarter.

Yalla Super App يلّا سوبر آب showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in February, with a peak of 74.3K in the week of February 21. Active users also surged, starting at around 31K at the end of December and reaching over 112K by late March.

Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments saw steady weekly download figures, with notable peaks of 46.3K in mid-March. Active users grew from approximately 75K at the end of December to a high of over 104K in late February, before stabilizing around 86K by the end of March.

myfawry had a varied performance in weekly downloads, starting strong at around 36K and peaking at nearly 47K in early January. Active users peaked at over 341K in late February but saw a decline to approximately 259K by the end of March.

Valu experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, with a significant peak of 55.8K in early March. Active users showed a marked increase, starting at around 28K at the end of December and reaching a high of approximately 86K by early March.
