Top 5 Apparel Apps on Android in the UK for Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 apparel apps on Android in the United Kingdom. Below, we break down the weekly downloads and active user metrics for each of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from 18.3K at the end of December and peaking at 38.1K in the week of March 21. Weekly active users also showed a steady increase, moving from 492.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 607.5K by the end of March.

JD Sports had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable drop from 22.7K at the end of December to around 8K in late January and February, before climbing back to 10.5K in the last week of March. The app's weekly active users saw a decrease from 112K at the start of the quarter to 87.5K by the end of March.

boohoo – Clothes Shopping showed a varied download trend, starting at 12.7K in late December, dipping to 5.9K in mid-January, and rebounding to around 8.2K by the end of March. Active user numbers followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 119.6K at the start to around 98.9K at the end of the quarter.

ASOS experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning at 15.4K in late December and declining steadily to 5.4K by the last week of March. Active users also decreased from 145.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 122.9K by the end of March.

Lastly, Nike: Shoes, Apparel & Stories saw a decrease in weekly downloads from 16.4K in late December to around 5.6K in mid-March, before slightly increasing to 6.9K at the end of March. Active users for Nike fluctuated but generally increased from 52K at the start to 61.9K by the end of March.
