During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 travel apps in Panama showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a consistent weekly download rate, starting at around 6.8K in late September and peaking at approximately 8.5K in mid-December. Active users ranged from about 55.7K to a high of 60.4K, showing a steady upward trend throughout the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw a notable increase in downloads early in the quarter, with figures rising from around 5.9K in late September to a peak of 9.9K in mid-October. However, downloads declined towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 3.8K by the end of December. Active users exhibited a consistent increase, starting at approximately 31.1K and growing to about 38.4K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced modest download numbers, beginning at about 1.5K and peaking at 2.8K in mid-December. The app maintained a strong active user base, fluctuating between 116.6K and 127.6K throughout the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had relatively stable download numbers, starting at around 1.4K and reaching a peak of 1.9K in early November. Active users showed a gradual increase from approximately 24.3K in late September to about 26.8K by the end of December.

Lastly, Airbnb demonstrated a steady rise in downloads, starting at around 1K and peaking at 2.4K in late December. The active user count also saw a positive trend, beginning at about 10.3K and growing to 14.5K by the end of the quarter.
