Top 5 Shopping Apps on Unified Platform in Spain Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top shopping apps in Spain displayed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Rebajas de Verano saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 1.2K in early October and peaking at 147K in the week of December 6. Active users for the app rose steadily from 686 in the first week of October to around 159K by early December, maintaining a high level through the end of the year.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 110K during the week of November 8. Active users increased from 1.6M at the start of the quarter to a peak of approximately 2.2M in the same week of November, stabilizing at around 1.7M towards the end of December.

SHEIN - Shopping Online showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 81K in early October and dropping to 46K by the end of December. The app's active users also saw a decrease, from 1.9M in early October to about 1.6M by the end of the year.

Wallapop - Vende y compra had a mixed performance with downloads starting at 95K in late September and fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending at 52K in the last week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decline from 1.3M to 1.2M during the quarter. The app also maintained a consistent weekly revenue, ranging between $33K and $38K.

Zalando – Online fashion experienced a peak in downloads at 63K in mid-October, with a gradual decline to 34K by the end of December. The active users for Zalando increased from around 513K in September to a high of 680K in late November, before dropping to 478K at the end of the quarter.
