In the fourth quarter of 2021, the shopping app market in Denmark showcased interesting trends across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at their performance in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Ønskeskyen experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 16.1K in late November. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 3K by the last week of December. The app also saw a rise in weekly active users, growing from 25K in late September to nearly 47K by the end of November, before tapering off to about 30K in the final week of December.

Netto+ | Scan&Go had its highest weekly downloads mid-October, with 17.5K downloads. This number decreased to around 2.8K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 28.7K in late September to a peak of 49K by late October, then gradually declining to 29.3K by the end of the year.

Circle K saw a significant spike in weekly downloads in late November, reaching 26.2K. This surge was followed by a drop to around 1.6K by the end of December. The app's active users also peaked in late November at approximately 32K, before declining to about 10.7K by the end of the quarter.

Zalando – Online fashion maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at 7.2K in late November. Active users for the app grew steadily, starting at around 169.6K in late September and reaching a high of 233.3K by late November. By the end of December, active users slightly decreased to approximately 169.2K.

IKEA had its highest weekly downloads in mid-October with 6.8K, followed by a gradual decrease to about 4.2K by the end of December. The active user base remained relatively stable, starting at 24.3K in late September and ending at 22.4K in the final week of December.
