In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top news applications in the Dominican Republic demonstrated varied performance trends across key metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users. X from X Corp. saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 12.4K in early October. The app maintained stable active users, starting at around 682.7K and ending the quarter at 704.4K. Revenue was minimal, with a notable spike to $5 in the last week of September.

Only on Netflix, developed by Pixel Web Design, experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 869 in late September to 389 by the end of December. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained relatively stable, averaging around 4.5K throughout the quarter.

Reddit, published by reddit, showed an increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $37 in late November. Downloads were steady, with a high of 1.5K in early December. Active users also saw growth, rising from 28.3K at the start of the quarter to 35.2K by the end.

Programación TV Guía (DO) by Thomas Gesland had a modest number of weekly downloads, peaking at 458 in late October. The app did not generate revenue and active user data was not available for this period.
