Top 5 Navigation Apps in Turkey in Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation apps in Turkey showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, with figures fluctuating between 58K and 84K. The highest downloads were recorded in the last week of September with approximately 84K. Weekly active users for the app showed a slight decline from 6.5M at the beginning of the quarter to around 5.9M by the end of December.

Moovit: All Transit Options had a noticeable decrease in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at around 56K and dropping to approximately 23K by the end of December. Active users initially increased, peaking at about 482K in early October, but eventually declined to roughly 372K by the end of the quarter.

Yandex Navi – navigation, maps saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, from around 48K in late September to close to 30K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, decreasing from about 1.67M to roughly 1.35M over the quarter. The app's weekly revenue varied, peaking at approximately $26 in early December.

Mobiett had a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 27K in late September and ending at approximately 16K by the end of December. Weekly active users demonstrated relative stability, ranging between 450K and 490K throughout the quarter.

TKGM Parsel Sorgu maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly figures oscillating between 15K and 21K. Active users remained stable as well, with numbers hovering around 140K to 147K during the quarter.
