Top 5 Navigation Apps Performance in Argentina Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top navigation applications in Argentina—Google Maps, Moovit: All Transit Options, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, Cuándo SUBO, and BA Ecobici por Tembici—exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a steady download rate, peaking at around 15K downloads in the first week of October. The app also saw consistent active user numbers, starting at around 1.16M and peaking at approximately 1.25M in mid-December.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced a high number of downloads, reaching a peak of 39K in early October. Active users for Moovit saw an upward trend, starting at around 408K and reaching a peak of approximately 501K in early December before dropping to 364K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 16.7K in the first week of October. Active users also increased steadily, starting at around 282K and peaking at approximately 346K mid-December.

Cuándo SUBO saw a significant increase in downloads, particularly in early December with a peak of around 19K. The app's active users also rose, starting at around 37K and reaching a peak of approximately 53K in mid-December.

BA Ecobici por Tembici showed a more modest download rate, peaking at around 5.8K in early October. Active users for the app remained stable, fluctuating around 20K throughout the quarter.
