Top 5 Navigation Apps in Finland Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation apps in Finland showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides an insightful look into the trends for these apps.

Ultracom NEXT experienced a significant peak in weekly revenue at the beginning of October, reaching approximately $70K. However, this was followed by a downward trend, ending the quarter with around $4.4K. Weekly downloads also showed a decline, starting from 2.5K in early October and falling to 439 by the end of December.

Tracker - for dogs and outdoor saw its highest weekly revenue of about $9K in the first week of October, but this gradually decreased to around $871 by the last week of December. The app's weekly downloads followed a similar pattern, with an initial peak of 1.2K and a decrease to 461 downloads towards the end of the quarter.

Geocaching® maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue throughout the quarter, fluctuating between $4.8K and $1.7K, with a notable increase to $2.9K in the final week of December. Weekly downloads showed a consistent decline from 1.3K at the end of September to 399 by the end of the year. Active users dropped from 3.5K to 2.4K over the same period.

Karttaselain - Maastokartta had a steady weekly revenue, starting at $5.8K and ending at $3.2K. Weekly downloads saw a decrease from 2.7K at the beginning of the quarter to 1.8K by the end. The number of active users also showed a downward trend, from 3.6K in late September to approximately 3K at the end of December.

Mapitare Terrain and Sea map had a much more modest revenue compared to the other apps. Its highest weekly revenue was around $1K, with slight fluctuations throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads were relatively low, starting at 133 and ending at 207.
