In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five insurance apps in Australia exhibited diverse performance metrics, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a breakdown of their weekly downloads and active user trends.

My Medibank saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking in mid-October at around 7.2K and then gradually declining to approximately 3.9K by the end of December. The active user count also followed a similar pattern, starting at 16.1K and ending the quarter at 12.9K.

My NRMA experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 3.2K in late September and reaching a peak of 10.4K in the last week of December. Active users also saw a significant rise, from 7.7K to 15.2K over the same period.

The AAMI App maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 2.2K to 3.7K. The app's active users increased consistently, starting at 20.2K and peaking at around 23.9K in mid-December.

nib Health showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2.9K and ending at about 1.9K by the end of December. Active users also declined slightly, from 15.9K to 14.9K during the same period.
