During the fourth quarter of 2021, the leading travel apps on iOS in Egypt displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps: inDrive. Save on city rides, Uber - Request a ride, Swvl - Daily Bus Rides, Careem – rides, food & more, and DiDi Rider: Affordable rides.

inDrive. Save on city rides from SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at approximately 37K in the week of October 11. Active users experienced a slight increase from around 13K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 15K by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride by Uber Technologies, Inc. maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 7K and 9K. Active users saw a decline from around 145K at the start of the quarter to roughly 118K by the end of December.

Swvl - Daily Bus Rides from Swvl Inc. had a consistent download rate, with numbers mostly hovering between 2K and 4K weekly. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at about 9.7K and ending the quarter at approximately 8.5K.
