During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five shopping apps on iOS in Europe showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Below is a detailed look at how each app fared during this period.

getir: groceries, food&beyond saw a remarkable rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 150K in late September and peaking at approximately 367K by the end of December. The app also experienced a consistent increase in weekly active users, growing from about 1.5M to 2.7M over the same period.

SHEIN - Shopping Online began the quarter with roughly 294K weekly downloads, fluctuating slightly but ending the year at around 234K. The active user base showed a mixed trend, with a peak of over 10M in early November but then declining to around 8.1M by the end of December.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced a decline in weekly downloads from about 229K to 174K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight increase initially, reaching around 3.6M in early December, but then decreased to approximately 3.3M by the end of the year.

AliExpress - Shopping App had a significant boost in downloads, especially in early November, peaking at around 386K. However, this was followed by a decline, ending the quarter with approximately 201K weekly downloads. Active users showcased a similar pattern, peaking at over 8.9M in early November and then stabilizing around 6.5M by late December.

Lidl Plus showed a strong increase in downloads in mid-October, reaching around 286K, but this number tapered off to about 117K by the end of December. The app maintained a steady active user base, fluctuating slightly but ending the quarter with around 2.5M active users.
