The fourth quarter of 2021 revealed interesting trends for the top 5 iOS news applications in the Dominican Republic. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

X from X Corp. experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6K in early October and maintaining a range between 2.5K and 3.1K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 247K and reaching a high of 301K in the first week of October, before stabilizing around 260K towards the end of December.

Only on Netflix by Pixel Web Design saw its weekly downloads hover around the 400 mark, with slight increases and decreases throughout the quarter. Active users for this app remained relatively stable, starting at around 4.5K and ending the quarter slightly higher at 4.6K.

Reddit had a more dynamic quarter. Weekly downloads increased from 311 in late September to 595 in early December, before settling back to around 440 by the end of December. Active users grew from approximately 8.5K at the start of the quarter to around 12K in early December, ending the quarter at 11.3K. Revenue for Reddit saw small spikes, peaking at $25 in late November and $15 in mid-December.

Telemundo Nuevo Mexico from NBCUniversal Media, LLC had a modest download trend, starting at 245 and fluctuating between 150 and 327 throughout the quarter.

Programación TV Guía (DO) by Thomas Gesland showed an interesting pattern in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 392 in late October, followed by a more stable range of 120 to 230 downloads for the remainder of the quarter.
