In the fourth quarter of 2021, the leading navigation apps on the iOS platform in Qatar showed varied performance trends. Here’s a detailed look based on data from Sensor Tower:

Google Maps experienced a steady download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from a low of approximately 2.1K to a high of around 2.8K. Active users were consistent, hovering around 245K to 255K each week.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a more fluctuating download pattern, with weekly downloads starting at 1.2K and peaking at about 1.4K in late December. Active users showed a minor decline, from around 158K at the start of the quarter to about 151K by the end.

Wain - وين saw a significant spike in downloads at the beginning of October, reaching over 1.9K. However, the numbers dropped significantly thereafter, stabilizing between 100 to 200 weekly downloads for the rest of the quarter.

iSalam: Qibla Compass showed a modest increase in revenue, peaking at $51 in the week of October 25. Downloads fluctuated, with the highest number being around 236 in mid-December. Active users saw a gradual increase from approximately 1.2K to nearly 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
