Top 5 Finance Apps on iOS in Ireland Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the performance of the top five finance apps on iOS in Ireland exhibited notable trends in weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Revolut: Send, spend and save saw a peak in weekly downloads at 17.2K in early November, while the highest weekly active users reached approximately 221.5K in late November. However, by the end of December, downloads had decreased to around 6.4K, and active users were at 214.5K.

AIB Mobile experienced a steady increase in weekly active users, peaking at 262.5K in mid-December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 3.7K in early November and ending the quarter at 2.5K.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save showed a consistent trend in weekly downloads, with a peak of 2.8K in late November. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 38.6K in late November and early December.

Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking maintained a consistent number of weekly downloads, with the highest being 2.5K in late November. Weekly active users peaked at 115.5K in late September but saw a decline to 105K by the end of December.

AIB Authenticator, a newer entrant, had its highest weekly downloads of 9K in late September. However, this number gradually declined to approximately 500 by the end of December.
