In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top finance applications on the iOS platform in the United Arab Emirates exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here is a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.8K during the week of October 25. Despite a decline to approximately 4.0K by mid-December, downloads rebounded to over 5.0K in the week leading up to December 20. Weekly active users also increased steadily, rising from about 19.2K at the beginning of October to just over 31.1K by the end of November, before stabilizing around 28K in December.
ADIB Mobile Banking experienced a steady flow of downloads throughout Q4, maintaining figures between 3K and 4K per week. The app's active users showed slight fluctuations, starting at approximately 21.1K in late September and ending the year around 20.1K, with minor dips in between.
Emirates NBD maintained consistent weekly downloads, generally hovering between 2.8K and 3.5K. Active users saw a slight decline from around 38.2K at the end of September to 34.9K by mid-October, followed by a gradual recovery to approximately 38.5K by early December, finishing the quarter at 37.5K.
ADCB showed stable weekly download numbers, ranging from 2.4K to 3.4K. The app's weekly active users also remained relatively constant, starting at about 46.1K in late September and fluctuating slightly before ending the year at approximately 46.1K.
Liv Bank had a more varied download pattern, starting the quarter at around 2.9K and experiencing a dip to 2.0K in mid-October, before stabilizing around 2.3K to 2.6K towards the end of the year.
