In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five shopping apps on the Android platform in Oceania demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends observed for each app.

Shop: All your favorite brands saw a steady number of weekly downloads throughout the quarter, with a peak of approximately 21K in late November. Active users increased significantly during the same period, climbing from around 128K at the beginning of October to over 169K in early December before settling at 144K by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at around 20K in early October and dropping to approximately 5.5K in late November. Active users showed some volatility, starting at 212K and reaching a high of 237K in early November before decreasing to around 195K by the end of December.

Everyday Rewards saw a significant spike in downloads mid-November, reaching around 26K. Active users also peaked during the same period, with numbers rising from 220K at the beginning of the quarter to a high of 295K in mid-November, before stabilizing around 213K by the end of December.

Woolworths maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering between 6.5K and 12K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at around 95K and ending the quarter at approximately 100K.

eBay online shopping & selling had a stable download rate, peaking at 12.5K in mid-October. Active user numbers were the highest among the top five apps, starting at 596K and fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter, ending at around 542K.
