Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Kuwait Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw varied performances from the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Kuwait. Here's a detailed look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these apps, based on Sensor Tower data.

GIG-Kuwait experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 362 downloads in the week of September 27, it saw a significant rise to over 1K in the following weeks, peaking at 1.4K during the week of October 11. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the quarter, ending with 128 downloads in the final week of December.

Tameen- new maintained a more stable download pattern. Weekly downloads started at 48 at the end of September, gradually increasing to 135 by mid-October. The numbers then fluctuated slightly but stayed within the range of 50 to 100 downloads per week, closing the year with 83 downloads in the last week of December.

GlobeMed Fit saw a relatively steady download rate, beginning with 132 downloads in the first week of the quarter. The app’s weekly downloads hovered between 50 and 80 for the rest of the year, ending with 82 downloads in the final week of December. The app also had a consistent number of active users, starting at 842 and gradually increasing to 928 by the end of December.

Al Mulla Insurance, which was released in early November, showed a promising start. Weekly downloads began at 16 and saw a notable spike to 438 in the week of December 13. Although there was a dip afterward, the app closed the quarter with 71 downloads in the last week of December.

LIC Digital had a more varied download performance throughout the quarter. Starting with 100 downloads in late September, the numbers fluctuated between 49 and 83 weekly downloads, finishing the year with 67 downloads. Active users for LIC Digital started at 504 and saw a slight decline, ending at 416 by the last week of December.
