Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top insurance apps on Android in Germany demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Meine AOK saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 19K in mid-October before settling around 16K towards the end of December. Active users for this app also showed a positive trend, rising from 71.8K at the start of the quarter to about 79K by the end.

TK-App had a fluctuating download pattern, starting strong with around 19.7K downloads in late September, then experiencing a dip, and finally stabilizing around 10.4K by the end of December. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting from 92.3K and ending around 78.9K.

ADAC Medical: E-Health App experienced a significant increase in downloads, especially in mid-December, reaching a peak of about 16.7K. This app did not report active user data for this period.

BARMER-App showed a steady rise in downloads through the quarter, peaking at approximately 9.7K in the last week of December. Active users also followed an upward trend, growing from 17.9K at the beginning to around 22K by the end of the quarter.

CLARK - Versicherungen managen had a varied download performance, starting with about 10.7K downloads in late September, peaking at 13.1K in late October, and then decreasing to around 4.8K by the end of December. The active users for this app showed a declining trend, starting at 21K and dropping to about 12.2K by the end of the quarter.
