Top Insurance Apps on Android in Costa Rica for Q4 2021

In Q4 2021, the performance of the top five insurance applications on the Android platform in Costa Rica demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared during this period.

INS 24/7 saw fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 1K downloads in the week of September 27, the app experienced a dip, reaching a low of 664 downloads by mid-October. However, it bounced back, peaking at 1.4K downloads in the week of November 29. By the end of December, the app's downloads had slightly decreased to 592.

Unity had a more stable but lower download rate compared to INS 24/7. The app started with 260 weekly downloads at the end of September, then saw a gradual decline, hitting a low of 78 downloads in the last week of December.

QMóvil CR maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout the quarter. The app had an initial download count of 70 in late September, with a slight peak at 101 downloads in the first week of November. It ended the quarter with 54 downloads in the final week of December.

ASSA Compañía de Seguros experienced modest download numbers. Starting with 34 downloads in the last week of September, the app had a minor peak at 53 downloads in mid-October, but overall remained stable, finishing the quarter with 34 downloads.

Odontoprev had lower download figures compared to the others but showed some fluctuations. The app began the quarter with 27 downloads and saw a peak of 62 downloads in mid-October. However, it experienced a significant drop, ending the quarter with just 15 downloads.

Odontoprev also provided data on weekly active users. It started with 52 active users at the end of September and saw a peak of 72 active users in early November. The number of active users then declined, reaching a low of 15 by the end of December.
