Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Brazil in Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw notable performance trends for the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Brazil. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced various changes in weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual from Porto Seguro exhibited a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 41K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 290K at the beginning of October to over 333K by the end of December.

Pier: Mobile & Auto insurance had a peak in weekly downloads in mid-October with around 34K, but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, closing December with about 7.9K downloads. Active users followed a similar pattern, rising to nearly 59K in mid-October before settling at around 37.5K by the end of the year.

Bradesco Saúde maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 21.6K in early November. Active users saw an increase from 75.8K at the end of September to a peak of 95.5K at the end of November, before slightly decreasing to around 88.8K by the end of December.

Bradesco Seguros experienced a consistent download rate, with peaks in early October at around 16K. Active users remained relatively stable with slight fluctuations, starting at 94.4K at the end of September and ending the year at approximately 91.7K.

Unimed Nacional saw a moderate increase in downloads, peaking at 15.3K in early November. Active users showed growth from 50K at the end of September to a peak of 63.9K by the end of November, closing the quarter at around 57.4K.
