Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Oceania, Q4 2021

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five finance apps on the Android platform in Oceania demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower's data.

Google Wallet saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 34K in mid-December. The app also experienced a steady rise in weekly active users, reaching around 307K in mid-December before declining to approximately 274K by the end of the year.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save maintained consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 10K and 18K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a slight increase, peaking at about 501K in late November, before closing the quarter at around 459K.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH experienced a peak in weekly downloads in late November with approximately 14K. Weekly active users for the app steadily increased, peaking at around 84K in late November but decreasing to approximately 77K by the end of December.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw its highest weekly downloads at about 14K in late October. The app's weekly active users showed a significant rise, reaching approximately 149K in early November, before dropping to around 107K by the end of December.

Finally, CommBank experienced varied weekly downloads, peaking at around 10K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.6M throughout the quarter, with a slight decline to approximately 1.5M by the end of December.
