In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 education applications on the Android platform in South America demonstrated notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Brainly: AI Homework Helper saw a peak in weekly revenue in early December with approximately $774, while weekly downloads experienced a significant drop from 322K at the start of the quarter to around 29K by the end of December. Active users also declined, starting from 9.1M and ending at 1.7M.

Duolingo: Language Lessons maintained a consistent performance with weekly revenue fluctuating around $50K for most of the quarter, peaking at $122K in the final week of December. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 240K, with a notable increase to 292K in the last week. Active users hovered around 1.9M throughout the quarter.
