In the third quarter of 2021, the top travel applications in Oman showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.9K in early August. Active users hovered around 37K to 43K, with a noticeable peak in late July at 43.4K.

Google Earth saw a significant spike in downloads in early July, reaching 13.7K. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 33K in mid-July before stabilizing around 8K to 10K towards the end of the quarter.

Masarrah App - Oman Chalets showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.3K in late August. This app did not record any significant active user data during the quarter.

WiFi Map: Travel eSIM, Offline maintained steady weekly revenue, with a notable increase to approximately $433 in late August. Downloads peaked at 4.3K in late June, while active users remained around 8K to 10K throughout the quarter.

Oman Taxi: Otaxi showed a substantial increase in downloads, peaking at 5.8K in late September. Active users also saw a significant rise, reaching 7.1K in the last week of September.
