In the third quarter of 2021, travel apps in Ghana experienced varying trends in downloads and user engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of the top 5 travel apps on a unified platform.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, starting at 60.8K in the week of June 28th, then dipping to around 25.1K by late July. The app's downloads rebounded in August, reaching a peak of 44.7K in the week of September 20th. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 724.2K at the start of the quarter to 820.2K by the end of September.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a stable download rate with minor fluctuations, starting at 8.4K in late June and finishing at 8.4K in late September. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decrease, moving from 417.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 398.1K by the end.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a steady rise in downloads over the quarter. Beginning with 3.9K downloads in late June, the app's downloads rose to 8.5K by the end of September. Active user numbers followed a similar trend, increasing from 30.4K to 33.3K over the same period.
