Top 5 Travel Apps in Finland Q3 2021: Unified Platform Performance

The third quarter of 2021 revealed interesting trends for the top travel apps in Finland. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we analyzed the performance of TIER - Move Better, HSL, Voi – e-scooter & e-bike hire, Lime - #RideGreen, and VR Matkalla.

TIER - Move Better saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting strong in early July with around 20K downloads but experiencing a decline to approximately 3.4K by the end of September. Active users peaked at about 50.1K in early August before settling to around 37K at the quarter's end.

HSL maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 7.7K weekly downloads in mid-July. Active users fluctuated around the 78K mark, with a notable increase to 78.8K by the end of September.

Voi – e-scooter & e-bike hire experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 11.3K in early July to approximately 1.9K by the end of September. Active users also saw a downward trend, from around 30.2K in mid-July to 19.9K at the quarter's close.

Lime - #RideGreen had a peak in weekly downloads of 13.4K in late July, followed by a decline to about 1.5K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 36.4K in late July and dropping to approximately 13K by the quarter's end.

VR Matkalla showed steady weekly downloads, averaging around 5K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 31K, with a slight increase to 31.1K by the end of September.
