During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 travel apps in Europe showed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 715K in the week of August 2. However, downloads declined to about 420K by the end of September. Active users reached around 17M in early August before gradually decreasing to approximately 12M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, peaking at around 626K in mid-September. Active users hovered around 10M to 11M throughout the quarter, showing a slight upward trend towards the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from about 343K to 408K. Active users increased steadily from approximately 2.1M at the beginning of the quarter to around 2.5M by the end of September.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery showed a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 308K in mid-August, with a slight decline to about 236K by the end of September. Active users saw an overall increase, peaking at around 6.6M at the end of August but slightly decreasing to approximately 6.1M by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth experienced stable weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 205K and 242K. Active users reached their peak at approximately 2.1M in mid-July but gradually decreased to around 1.7M by the end of September.
