In the third quarter of 2021, the top travel applications in the United Arab Emirates saw varied performance trends on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue metrics for the top 5 travel apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth from Google experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 3.8K at the end of June and peaking at 25.5K in the first week of July. The app's weekly active users mirrored a similar pattern, starting at 18.7K and reaching a high of 65K in mid-July, before stabilizing at around 26.1K by the end of September.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 6.1K and 10.6K. The app's active user base showed minor fluctuations, starting at 219.8K and peaking at 237.3K in late July, before settling at approximately 200.6K by the end of the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more also exhibited consistent download numbers, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 8.3K and 11.9K. The app's active users saw a slight dip in mid-July but recovered to reach 139.9K by the end of September.

Uber - Request a ride showed stable download trends, fluctuating between 5.2K and 6.6K weekly downloads. The active user count remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, starting at 210.9K and ending at 221.4K.
