Top 5 Shopping Apps Performance in Serbia Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 shopping apps in Serbia showcased varying performance metrics across weekly downloads and active users. Here, we break down the trends for each app based on the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Alibaba.com saw a fluctuating but generally upward trend in weekly downloads. Starting at around 3K downloads per week in late June, the app peaked at approximately 5.2K in the week of August 23. Despite a slight decline in early September, downloads remained strong, ending the quarter with nearly 3.8K.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced a more volatile pattern in its weekly downloads. Beginning the quarter with close to 3K downloads per week, the numbers dipped to around 1.6K by early August. However, a recovery was observed towards the end of the quarter, with weekly downloads stabilizing at approximately 2.2K.

Lidl – All our offers, leaflets and opening hours exhibited a steady increase in weekly downloads. From a low of around 1.7K weekly downloads in mid-July, the app saw consistent growth, peaking at about 2.6K by the end of September.

Fashion&Friends, a relatively new entrant, showed significant growth in downloads since its release at the end of August. Starting with just 177 downloads in its first week, the app quickly ramped up to over 7.2K downloads in the first week of September. Although there was a slight decline, it maintained a strong performance with over 6.2K downloads by the end of the quarter.

Wish: Shop and Save had a mixed performance. The app began the quarter with a robust 3.4K downloads but saw a sharp decline to below 500 downloads per week from mid-August onwards. Despite this, the app managed to maintain a consistent user base, ending the quarter with about 366 weekly downloads.
