In the third quarter of 2021, the top five shopping applications in Latin America demonstrated noteworthy performance across both iOS and Android platforms. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive view of their weekly downloads and active user trends.

Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 2.3M in the week of August 16. Active users also showed a notable rise, starting from around 14.6M at the end of June and reaching approximately 18.5M by the end of September.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of around 1.3M in the week of August 9. Active users experienced a gradual increase, starting at about 11.4M at the beginning of July and reaching approximately 12.7M by the end of September.

Mercado Libre: Compras Online showed a stable download pattern, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 810K and 900K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 38M mark throughout the quarter.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced an upward trend in downloads, peaking at nearly 1M in the week of August 16. Active users also saw growth, starting at approximately 16.1M at the end of June and reaching around 19.6M by the end of August, before tapering off slightly in September.

Alibaba.com maintained a steady download rate with a peak of about 770K in the week of August 30. Active users saw a consistent increase, beginning at around 4.6M at the end of June and reaching approximately 5.3M by early September.
