In the third quarter of 2021, the top five shopping apps in Costa Rica displayed varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

Alibaba.com experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 10.9K in the final week of August. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, reaching approximately 87.4K in the same timeframe.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a stable trend in downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 6.3K and 7.8K throughout the quarter. Active users for SHEIN increased steadily, peaking at about 75.7K in the last week of September.

E-Fast showed moderate weekly downloads, with a peak of approximately 3.7K in mid-July. Active users for E-Fast were relatively stable, hovering around 15.6K to 17.2K during the quarter.

Wish: Shop and Save had a significant drop in weekly downloads, from around 7.5K in early July to just over 1.2K by the end of September. Despite this, active users remained relatively high, peaking at around 95.9K in early July before gradually declining to approximately 73.5K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Amazon Shopping maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 2.9K to 3.5K per week. Active users for Amazon Shopping showed a slight decrease, from approximately 155.3K in late June to 143K by the end of September.
