Top 5 Navigation Apps Performance in the Middle East for Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation apps in the Middle East showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides detailed insights into these trends.

Google Maps saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 96K at the end of June and peaking at around 111K in the week of August 9. This was followed by a decline, ending the quarter with about 87K downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 7.3M and 7.6M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a peak in weekly downloads of around 45K in mid-July, but numbers generally declined, ending the quarter with approximately 28K downloads. Active users also saw a decline from 2.7M in early July to around 2.4M by the end of September.

For Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS, weekly revenue showed a steady increase, peaking at $7.1K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads reached a high of about 28K in mid-July but dropped to approximately 18K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 85K in late July and declining to around 74K by the end of September.
