Top 5 Insurance Apps in Romania: Q3 2021 Performance

During the third quarter of 2021, the top five insurance applications in Romania displayed distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

MyElectrica from Electrica Furnizare experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.7K in late June and rising to approximately 7.8K by the end of September. Weekly active users also showed an upward trajectory, growing from about 40K to 48K over the same period.

NN Direct, developed by NN Asigurari de Viata S.A., had a significant spike in downloads during the week of September 6, reaching around 15.7K. This surge was followed by a decrease, ending the quarter with about 2.2K downloads. Active users peaked at approximately 25.5K in early September before settling to around 11K by the end of the month.

Allianz-Tiriac saw a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating between 892 and 1.2K throughout the quarter. However, no data was available for active users.

Signal Care Assistant by Signal Iduna Asigurare Reasigurare S.A. exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 447 in late June and reaching 807 by the end of September. There was no data provided for active users.

Finally, OMNIASIG from OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group showed a steady rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 439 in late June and ending the quarter at 739. Active user data was not available for this app.
