In the third quarter of 2021, the top insurance apps in Brazil demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top 5 insurance applications on a unified platform.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão e + saw a significant decline in weekly downloads from 149K at the start of the quarter to around 39K by the end. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 325K and 395K.

Bradesco Saúde experienced a slight decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 22K and ending the quarter at approximately 15K. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, moving from 115K to around 101K over the quarter.

For Bradesco Seguros, weekly downloads started at 13K and remained relatively stable, peaking at 17K in early August before settling back to 13K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a consistent trend, averaging around 120K throughout the quarter.

OdontoPrev started Q3 with 14K downloads, which gradually decreased to 10K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users peaked at 43K in mid-August but declined to around 30K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, SulAmérica Saúde had relatively stable download numbers, beginning at 13K and ending at 10K. Weekly active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 101K and peaking at 112K in mid-August before decreasing to 99K by the end of September.
