Top 5 Finance Apps Performance in Panama for Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five finance apps in Panama displayed notable trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Banca Móvil de Banco General showed a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at approximately 12K in the week of August 23. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 112K at the beginning of July and ending at about 115K by the end of September.

Nequi Panamá experienced a significant rise in downloads, especially towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads surged from around 2.3K in early July to nearly 7.7K by the end of September. Similarly, active users increased from about 5.4K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 11.8K by the end of the quarter.

For PayPal - Pay, Send, Save, the quarter saw a varied trend in downloads. There was a notable spike in the week of August 23 with over 5.2K downloads. Active users saw an increase from roughly 61.8K at the end of June to about 76.4K by late August, before stabilizing around 68.8K by the end of September.

Banistmo APP Personas maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging between 2.1K and 2.6K. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at around 23.5K and peaking at approximately 24.5K by the end of the quarter.

Treinta - Gestiona tu negocio experienced a dramatic increase in its metrics. Weekly downloads peaked at over 4.6K in mid-September, while active users saw a significant rise from about 1.4K at the end of June to around 6.4K by early September, before slightly declining to 4.1K by the end of the quarter.
