The third quarter of 2021 saw notable performance trends among the top 5 finance applications in Chile according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps.

BancoEstado maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 31K and 52K. The app peaked at 52.7K downloads in the week of August 2. Weekly active users mirrored this stability, consistently hovering around 4.2M to 4.4M throughout the quarter.

Copec saw a varied download pattern, starting at 27.9K in late June and peaking at 43.1K in mid-August. Active users ranged from 126K to 167K, with the highest user engagement occurring in mid-August as well.

Fpay experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 34.7K in early August, following a generally upward trend from 23.3K at the beginning of the quarter. Active users increased from 60.7K to a high of 73.4K in early August, before stabilizing around 62K to 66K towards the end of the quarter.

Banco Falabella Chile had a steady download rate, with a peak of 28.4K in the first week of August. Active users showed consistent engagement, starting at 538K and rising to approximately 555K by the end of September.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital demonstrated notable growth in active users, starting at 381K in late June and reaching nearly 496K by early September. Weekly downloads saw peaks at 37.8K in early August and maintained a range between 16K and 29K throughout the quarter.
