Top 5 Utilities Apps on iOS in Nigeria: Q3 2021 Performance

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five utilities applications on the iOS platform in Nigeria showcased notable trends in downloads and active user metrics. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of these apps, offering valuable insights into their market presence.

Xender:File Share,Share Music experienced consistent weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 18.7K in the week of August 30. Weekly active users showed a general upward trend, growing from around 81K at the beginning of the quarter to about 88.5K by the end of September.

Google Chrome maintained steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 9.9K and 12.3K throughout the quarter. The active user base remained robust, averaging around 234K weekly, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Google also saw a stable download rate, starting at about 6.3K in early July and reaching approximately 8.2K by late September. Weekly active users exhibited an upward trend, increasing from about 164K to over 170K during the quarter.

Opera: AI browser with VPN showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 7.8K in mid-September. Active users grew steadily from around 34.7K at the end of June to approximately 41.1K by the end of September.
