In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 utilities applications on the iOS platform in Spain showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these apps.

Google observed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 13.5K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately 27.5K by the end of September. The app also maintained a steady number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 710K to 720K throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome experienced stable weekly downloads, with figures ranging between 17K and 19K. Active users remained relatively constant, hovering around the 1M mark throughout the quarter.

miDGT also showed a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting at 11.3K and reaching up to 16.4K in mid-August. The app's active users increased from 44.3K in early July to about 53K by mid-August, before stabilizing around 49K towards the end of September.

Newplay saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-August, reaching over 27K and subsequently peaking at 38.6K by late August. This surge was followed by a decline, with downloads settling around 13K by the end of September. Revenue for Newplay varied, with peaks of around $115 in mid-August.

My Verisure reported substantial weekly downloads in late July and early August, peaking at about 15.6K. Active users for the app grew from 13.3K in late June to a high of 28.8K in early August, before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 21.4K by the end of September.
