During the third quarter of 2021, the top five travel applications on iOS in Europe showcased diverse performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s an in-depth look at how these apps fared.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a notable presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 312K in early July. However, a downward trend was observed, with downloads dropping to around 189K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting from about 5.8M at the beginning of the quarter and declining to roughly 4.8M by the end.

Uber - Request a ride showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 202K at the start of the quarter and reaching a peak of 232K towards the end of September. Active users for Uber also demonstrated a rising trend, growing from 4.5M to nearly 4.8M over the same period.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced consistent weekly downloads, maintaining figures around the 170K mark throughout the quarter and peaking at 185K. Active users for Bolt saw a steady increase from approximately 769K in late June to about 961K by the end of September.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery displayed a more variable trend in downloads, starting at around 102K and fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 94K. Active users for Yandex Go remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.7M throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Google Earth had steady weekly downloads, peaking at 122K in mid-July and ending the quarter with around 98K. Active users for Google Earth showed a gradual decline from about 678K to 623K over the same period.
