In the third quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 news applications on the iOS platform in the United Arab Emirates showcased interesting trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

X experienced a relatively stable performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a gradual increase, starting at approximately 6.4K in late June and peaking at around 8.3K in mid-August. Active users hovered around 760K, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 760K.

Reddit had consistent weekly downloads, maintaining a range between 1.1K and 1.3K. Revenue spiked notably in the week of July 26, reaching $621, but generally stayed under $100 for most weeks. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 34.3K and ending the quarter at 30.3K.
