Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Romania Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 iOS navigation applications in Romania experienced diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s an overview of their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps witnessed a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 11.7K in late June and dropping to approximately 6.7K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users began at about 629K and saw minor fluctuations, ultimately ending the quarter at approximately 618K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a more pronounced downward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 11.6K in early August and falling to about 4.7K by the end of September. The weekly active users for Waze increased initially, reaching a high of approximately 775K in mid-August, but then declined to around 680K by the end of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 2.4K to 3.7K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting from around 23.3K in late June and rising steadily to about 38.8K by the end of September.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps maintained low but consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 667 in late July before declining to approximately 302 by the end of September. The weekly active users for Sygic also saw a slight decrease, starting from about 769 in late June and ending the quarter at roughly 703.

SpTH demonstrated a gradual decline in weekly downloads, beginning at around 489 in late June and dropping to about 245 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting from approximately 564 and decreasing to around 353 over the same period.
