In the third quarter of 2021, the iOS navigation app landscape in Malta showcased varied performance among the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, here's a detailed look at their weekly downloads and revenue trends.

Google Maps remained a popular choice for navigation in Malta. Weekly downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting with 479 in late June and peaking at 584 in the week of August 23. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to 262. Despite the consistent download activity, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a stable but modest download rate. Weekly downloads varied slightly, starting at 58 at the end of June and hitting a high of 79 in mid-July. The quarter closed with 56 downloads in the last week of September. Similar to Google Maps, Waze did not report any revenue.

Find my Phone - Family Locator saw a significant spike in weekly revenue, particularly in the week of September 20, reaching approximately $194. This was a notable increase from earlier weeks, which saw revenues as low as $8. Download numbers for this app were relatively low, peaking at 71 in the week of September 20 and ending the quarter at 27.

Moovit: All Transit Options had a varied download trend, starting with 40 downloads in late June and seeing a peak of 57 in the last week of September. Revenue for Moovit was consistently zero throughout the quarter.

SpTH had fluctuating download numbers, beginning with 24 downloads in late June and peaking at 55 in the week of September 6. By the end of the quarter, downloads had dropped to 28. Like most of the other top navigation apps, SpTH did not generate any revenue during this period.
