Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Spain Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends for the top 5 navigation apps on iOS in Spain. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited diverse patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 45K to 95K. The highest spike was noted in mid-August with around 95K downloads. Active users saw a slight fluctuation, peaking at nearly 5.2M in early September, before dipping to about 4.9M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic demonstrated a gradual increase in weekly downloads, with numbers starting at approximately 7K and reaching a peak of about 12.5K in mid-August. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, peaking at around 440K in mid-August before declining to about 368K by the end of September.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced a steady growth in downloads, particularly in September where it saw a peak of around 13.7K. Active users followed an upward trend, starting from about 61K in late June and reaching up to nearly 88K by mid-September.

SpTH showed a consistent increase in downloads, particularly notable in August with about 10K downloads per week. Active users also increased steadily, peaking at around 12.4K in late August before a slight decline to about 9.6K by the end of September.

Telpark had a more modest performance, with weekly downloads generally ranging between 3.7K and 5.9K. Active users saw a gradual increase from around 14K in late June to approximately 16K in mid-September, before slightly dropping to about 15K by the end of the quarter.
