Top 5 Finance Apps on iOS in Romania - Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five finance applications on the iOS platform in Romania exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

BT Pay from Banca Transilvania maintained a consistent presence in the market. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, ranging from around 3.8K to 4.4K. Active users saw an overall increase, starting from approximately 145K in late June and peaking at around 159K by the end of September.

Revolut: Send, spend and save by Revolut Ltd also showed notable activity. Weekly downloads for this app varied between 3.4K and 4.6K, with a noticeable peak in late August. The number of active users remained relatively stable, hovering between 165K and 175K throughout the quarter.

YOU BRD from BRD Groupe Societe Generale S.A. experienced a more varied download pattern. Weekly downloads ranged from around 2.2K to 4.7K, with a significant drop in early August. However, active user data for this app was not available for the period.

NeoBT, another app from Banca Transilvania, saw weekly downloads mostly in the range of 2.1K to 2.5K. Active users of NeoBT increased steadily, starting at about 24.8K in late June and reaching approximately 30K by the end of September.

George Romania from Banca Comerciala Romana showed stable weekly downloads, generally between 1.8K and 2.3K. The number of active users also grew consistently from around 54K to 57K over the quarter.
