Top 5 Finance Apps on iOS in Malta Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 finance apps on the iOS platform in Malta. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with around 200 downloads at the end of June, the app saw a peak of approximately 327 downloads in mid-August, before stabilizing around the 200-300 range towards the end of September.

BOV Mobile showed a consistent pattern in its weekly downloads. The app started with around 140 downloads in late June and experienced a gradual increase, peaking at 227 downloads in mid-August. By the end of September, the app had around 195 weekly downloads.

HSBC Malta had a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at 143 downloads per week in late June, the app saw minor fluctuations, maintaining weekly downloads between 90 and 125 for most of the quarter, ending with 101 downloads in the last week of September.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads began at 98 in late June, with minor peaks and troughs, reaching a high of 118 in early August and closing the quarter with around 107 downloads in the last week of September.

BOV 3D Secure saw a significant jump in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting with a modest 43 downloads in late June, the app experienced a dramatic increase, reaching a peak of 621 downloads in the last week of September.
