In the third quarter of 2021, the education category on iOS in Sweden saw significant activity, with the top five apps showing varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these trends.

STUK.CO experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 36.9K in late August before declining to 6.2K by the end of September. Active users showed an overall upward trend, starting at 22.7K in late June and reaching a high of 70.6K at the end of August.

Skolschema – enkelt, smidigt saw a dramatic increase in weekly downloads mid-quarter, with a peak of 47.3K in mid-August. This surge was mirrored by a rise in weekly active users, which climbed steadily from 83.7K in late June to 143.5K by the end of September. Revenue also showed consistent growth, peaking at $69 in late August.

SchoolSoft had a similar pattern, with downloads peaking at 24.2K in mid-August. Active users increased from 79.8K in late June to a high of 129.9K at the end of August, before settling at 106.9K by the end of September.

Skola24 displayed robust performance, especially in mid-August with weekly downloads hitting 22.5K. Active users followed suit, rising from 4.5K in late June to 24.9K in mid-August. By the end of the quarter, active users had slightly decreased to 12.7K.

Toca Boca World maintained steady performance in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads hovered around 4K, while active users remained consistent at around 30K throughout the quarter. Revenue showcased a strong performance, peaking at approximately $50.3K in early September.
