In the third quarter of 2021, the top five insurance applications on Android in Brazil demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from 127K at the end of June and dropping to around 38K by the end of July. However, it maintained a steady increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 33K in the last week of September. The app's active users exhibited a slight decrease early in the quarter, from 316K to 259K by the end of July, but rebounded to around 290K by the end of September.

Bradesco Saúde had relatively stable weekly download numbers, beginning at 17K at the end of June and fluctuating slightly before ending the quarter at roughly 12K. Active user figures for the app started at 88K and saw a gradual decline to about 76K by the end of September.

Bradesco Seguros experienced a consistent weekly download trend, starting from 11K at the end of June and maintaining similar levels throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 11K in late September. The app's active users showed minor fluctuations, starting from 91K at the end of June and ending the quarter at around 94K.

Odontoprev presented varied weekly download figures, starting from 12K at the end of June, peaking at 15K in mid-August, and concluding the quarter at about 9.5K. Active users also varied, starting at 35K, peaking at 43K in mid-August, and finishing the quarter at roughly 30K.

SulAmérica Saúde had a mixed performance in weekly downloads, beginning at 9.7K at the end of June and showing fluctuations throughout the quarter to end at around 7.6K. The app's active users started at 75K and experienced minor variations, ultimately reaching approximately 73K by the end of September.
