In Q3 2021, the top five finance apps on the Android platform in Ecuador showcased diverse patterns in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

PICHINCHA BANCA MÓVIL experienced a generally stable trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 29.1K in the last week of September. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting from 759.5K at the beginning of the quarter and rising to about 823.5K by the end.

Deuna: Versión Anterior displayed a fluctuating download pattern, with a significant rise to 26.4K in the final week of September. The app's weekly active users also grew steadily, reaching around 31.9K in the last week of the quarter from an initial count of 19.5K.

Treinta - Gestiona tu negocio saw a rapid increase in weekly downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 25.9K in mid-September before dropping to 14.2K by the end of the month. The number of active users also increased, peaking at around 35.1K in mid-September but then declining to 27.7K by the end of the quarter.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save demonstrated a varied download trend, reaching a peak of 26.2K in late August. The app's active user base showed an overall increase, starting from 222K at the beginning of the quarter and rising to approximately 283.3K by the end of September.

Finally, Banco Guayaquil maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of 11.5K in late August. The active user count showed a gradual increase, starting from 141.7K in late June and reaching about 152.6K by the end of the quarter.
