Top 5 Education Apps on Android in Lebanon - Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the education category on the Android platform in Lebanon saw significant activity. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s how the top five apps performed in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Duolingo: Language Lessons experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from 3.8K in late June and peaking at 10K by mid-August. The app’s weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $217 in mid-July. Weekly active users showed some variability, hovering around 30K to 34K throughout the quarter.

Cake - Learn English & Korean saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 3.7K in late June and reaching 6.8K by the end of September. The app recorded a small revenue spike of $21 in mid-August. Active users also increased, growing from 6.7K in late June to 10.6K by the end of September.

MEHE had a dramatic spike in weekly downloads, peaking at 12K in early August. Despite the significant download numbers, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

ELSA Speak: English Learning had a steady download rate, ranging from 1.2K to 2.5K throughout the quarter. Revenue remained relatively low, with a slight peak of $21 at the end of September. Active users increased from 5.5K in late June to 5.3K by the end of September.

Finally, Baby Bella Caring maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 543 in late June and reaching 1.6K by the end of September. Active users also showed a gradual increase, growing from 545 in late June to 1.5K by the end of September.
